I'm mainly a self-taught artist, an autodidact.  Always eager to try new techniques, that's why my oeuvre is so extensive. As a child, I drew a lot, often copying comic book characters. My aunt introduced me to watercolor and took me into the woods to try it out. I thought it was a nightmare, but I was immediately captivated. I tried everything: pencil, ink, watercolor, and pastel. Later in life,
through Studio te Wildt, I came into contact with fine painting "like the old masters." Father and daughter te Wildt taught me the basics. I'm also self-taught in graphic design. I've designed many logos for companies and am developing my skills in etching and printing.
